Flyff Universe v1.5.0 - Muran’s Awakening

Greetings Flyffers,

This is GM Shadow. We are excited to share that the upcoming expansion, Flyff Universe – Muran’s Awakening, will be arriving soon. In this Developer’s Note, we would like to provide you with a preview of some of the content you can look forward to in the new version.

Today, we will be focusing on one of the most exciting aspects of the update: the new areas that will be available for exploration. Please note that what we are sharing here represents only a small glimpse into the expansion, and does not encompass all of the features or details that will be included.

Kaillun

Discover the new continent to explore - Kaillun. It is a mysterious region that was shrouded off to the north of the Darkon continent which is now accessible. In the midst of the region’s deep forest lies the town of Eillun that hides the secret of a powerful path for your respected classes. An ambitious expedition to find a new region has failed and a strange collector wants you, the hero, to go searching for a path to find it. Explore the new region to uncover secrets that it holds!

The Kaillun continent will have many new monsters, quests, and areas to explore. Here are some of the locations you can expect to see:

There are many regions to explore including vast grasslands, and mysterious forests. Furthermore, the new continent will bring a raise in the maximum level cap to 190, along with new equipment.

Ankou’s Asylum

The God of Death, Ankou, is residing in Ankou’s Asylum. Only those who dare shall obtain the treasure within! 

With this new dungeon, new methods to enhance your party will be available once waves of monsters are defeated, and destroying statues will grant buffs as well as debuffs. You can also defeat more monsters to reach additional goals, such as getting extra rewards or an NPC that can alter the current buffs or debuffs you have.

Depending on how you progress through the dungeon, you will face one of the 3 different variations of Ankou. If you face the harder version of the boss, you will encounter more patterns and attacks but you will also reap higher rewards.

You will be able to enter the Ankou’s Asylum dungeon from levels 166 to 190 and have a chance to obtain new weapons, armor and other rewards to enhance your character and become even more powerful. You will be able to enter the dungeon in the darker region of Kaillun, the Dreknir Ridge.
