Patch Note: Lifestyle Changes
October 1, 2026
Update to Lifestyle content
Revamp of gathering
With this update, the gathering of materials will be revamped.
Previously, the same gathering materials were generated in all regions, resulting in no regional differences. Also, high-grade gathering materials have had extremely low drop rates, making crafting excessively difficult, and although grade differences existed, the actual differences between the grades were small and not worth seeking.
With the new update, the grades of gathering materials will be based on regional variations, making higher-grade gathering materials easier to obtain. Also, upon popular demand, all gathering materials will no longer be Soul Linked to your character, making free trades available. Also, the grades of the materials will be simplified to A, B, and C tiers only. Please note that even though the grades are fixed, the type of item you get from each harvesting point is still obtained by chance, and some items will have a rarer obtain rate than others.

Changes to the Production System
We understand that some aspects of the production system were not very straightforward. In order to resolve some issues that the current production process has, we have made a couple of changes:
- All Recipes will now be viewable from the start
- All produced items will now no longer be Soul Linked
- Recipes were simplified so they don’t contain as many complex steps for the items to be created.
- Now some recipes will include a Penya consuming item, and the Penya items alone can’t be converted to Master’s Chips to reduce abuse. These items can be purchased from the NPC Livi.
- Now, the higher-grade item will require a lower-grade item in order to create it, so that lower-grade items have a purpose to them.
- Only A, B, and C grade items are available now.
- You can only obtain the Master’s Chip by producing them with the failure materials, and you don’t get them by failing the production itself.
- You no longer have to individually select or drag the items to be inserted into the Production window, as long as you have them in your inventory.
- You no longer have to be in front of the production tools after you start producing items. The production will continue even if you are away from the production tools.
- If you cancel a craft, you always get your materials refunded.

Example of the new UI
With the update, the Scroll of Production Boost item has now been changed so that the production time per 1 item has been decreased by 20%, while the buff time has been reduced to 10 minutes for balancing purposes.
Some of the items that could be created with the old system are no longer available in the process of simplifying some of the production of items, and usable items have had their effects changed as well.
Also, to ensure that the new system works as intended, all the previous materials and production-made items will be categorized as [OLD] items. These items can be exchanged for the following ratio at the NPC Livi:
Master’s Chip 1 Exchange Ratio
A Grade Materials 50
B Grade Materials 10
C Grade Materials 5
D Grade Materials 1
Please note that items that are shared with non-lifestyle content, such as some accessory items dropped from bosses etc., will not be part of this item change. Also, one-time consumable items such as foods, HP/MP recovery items etc. will not be exchangeable either.
Also, for %- based buff or healing items, if they are not of the appropriate level range of the item, the following effect is applied:
If the grade is one tier below the recommended level → only 1/2 effect is applied
If the grade is two tiers below the recommended level → only 1/4 effect is applied
With the new failure materials, you will be able to create Master’s Chip 2 instead of the previous Master’s Chip 1.
Changes to the shop menu
The shops available via the NPC Livi will be changed as well.
Now, Livi will have a unified menu for the Master’s Chip shop, as well as a function to renew the shop with the same ticket as the Wandering Merchant. It will also automatically renew by itself after certain period of time (6 hours) much like the Wandering Merchant.
Livi’s penya trade will have the usual gathering tools available as well as some new base materials that can be used for production, as mentioned above.
The Master’s Chip 1 can be exchanged for more common materials, and all the items will be account-linked.

Example of the new shop UI
Also, with the introduction of Master’s Chip 2, the new exchange shop for it will have a chance to have low-rate rare materials appear in it, and these will also be account-linked. Please use this to enhance your production experience as well.
