[FWC 2026] PvP Tournament Rules & Grand Final Guidelines

August 11, 2026

Greetings, Flyffers!

Please review the following rules and guidelines carefully before participating in the FWC 2026 PvP Event.

These rules apply to all participants in the FWC 2026 PvP Event, particularly teams intending to advance to the offline Grand Final in Manila, Philippines.

1. Team Composition & Eligibility

• Fixed roster, no substitutes: This tournament is operated solely with the 4-member team registered at the outset. Registering substitutes or replacing members is not permitted under any circumstances.

◦ This measure exists to block all forms of misconduct that damage fairness, including the illegal sale or transfer of Grand Final slots and playing on another person’s behalf.

• Loss of eligibility: Even if a member becomes unable to participate for personal reasons, adding or replacing members is not possible. If the team cannot field the required 4 members, its eligibility to advance is revoked.

• Ownership & duplicate entry: Playing on an account that is not your own, playing on someone else’s behalf, or being found to belong to multiple teams results in immediate disqualification.

2. Manila Offline Grand Final & Entry into the Philippines

• Visa & pre-registration: The Philippines allows visa-free entry for most nationalities, but policies differ by country. Each participant must individually confirm whether a visa is required and complete the pre-registration procedure via the Philippines eTravel Link.

• Succession if entry is denied: Denial of entry due to an unissued visa, an expired passport, a criminal record or similar is treated as a personal circumstance. In such cases, the Grand Final slot is immediately transferred to the next eligible team (the 3rd/4th place reserve teams).

• Scope of Manila support: Confirmed finalists (4 per team) are provided with a round-trip economy flight, accommodation at the designated hotel, meals at designated venues during the event period, and local transport between the airport, hotel and venue. Other personal expenses are not covered.

• Disclaimer: WCN bears no separate responsibility for entry restrictions arising from personal circumstances. If you wish to advance to the Grand Final, please confirm your own eligibility to enter the country in advance.

3. Grand Final Participation Requirements

• A total of 8 teams — the top 2 teams from each of the 3 time zones (6 teams) plus 1 team each recommended by PlayPark and WCN — will compete in the Grand Final in Manila, Philippines.

• The Grand Final follows a double-elimination format.

• The Grand Final is played on a separate secure server. Finalists must therefore have their character setups completed by the data backup time. After the backup, you may play freely.

The backup takes place on October 8 at 07:00 (UTC).

• For balancing purposes, some items may be restricted or provided by the organizer.

• The organizers will announce the match-day setup time to participants. Issues caused by the player after the setup time will not be accepted.

• All players must actively take part in the full FWC and Grand Final schedule, and must agree to and participate in sponsor-related photography, sponsor advertisement slots, media interviews and similar activities.

Notice on Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances

• For e-sports events held in the Philippines, any player who tests positive for narcotics will be disqualified from winning.

• GAB officers dispatched to the venue will conduct drug tests on the teams confirmed to receive prize money.

• FAQ: Why is a drug test required?

4. Match Operations & Technical Matters

• Parallel matches and punctuality: All matches of the Qualifying Tournament start simultaneously. A team that has not entered by 10 minutes before the match start is recorded as a forfeit loss.

• If a player intentionally shuts down their PC or disconnects during a match, that round is forfeited by the responsible side.

• If a player intentionally disrupts a match, the team forfeits the tournament.

• Data backup: The item, consumable and buff setup as of the data backup on October 8 is carried over to the Grand Final stage exactly as it is. Please note that changing items on the live server after the backup will not be reflected in the Grand Final.

5. Sportsmanship & Code of Conduct

• Sportsmanship: All participants and guilds must observe fair play. Slander, abusive language and hateful expressions directed at opposing teams, the organizers or viewers are strictly prohibited.

• Sanctions for unsportsmanlike conduct: If unsportsmanlike conduct that damages the reputation of the game is confirmed, whether during or outside matches, strong sanctions may be imposed at the organizers’ discretion, including match forfeiture and revocation of eligibility.

• Community guidelines: Spreading false information, inciting conflict and other acts that obstruct the smooth running of the tournament are subject to sanction.

6. Broadcast, Likeness Rights & Content Use

• Consent to use: Participants in the PvP Event are deemed to consent to the possible exposure of their match screens, character names (nicknames), guild names and character images. Finalists are further deemed to consent to the use of their voice, photographs and video in tournament broadcasts and in online and offline promotional materials.

• Content production: Tournament video, highlights, social media clips, interviews and similar material may be used indefinitely for the service provider’s marketing and content production purposes.

• On-site interviews: Finalists may be subject to on-site filming and media interviews, and must cooperate actively with them.

7. Prize Payment & Personal Data

• Confirmed finalists will be contacted individually through the contact details provided at registration, and must submit a copy of their passport showing full name, gender, nationality and date of birth, an email address and a phone number within the period specified in that notice.

• If a team member fails to submit the required information within the specified period, the Grand Final slot is transferred to the next eligible team under the succession rules.

• Nationality is determined by the country that issued the passport, regardless of the country of residence.

• Prize money is paid net of applicable taxes. Winners are responsible for fulfilling their own tax obligations in their country of residence, and the company bears no responsibility for issues arising from unpaid taxes.

The payment method and schedule will be announced separately once finalists are confirmed.

• Personal data collected is used solely for FWC 2026 operations, including flights, accommodation, prize payment and similar purposes, and is destroyed immediately after the event.

Collecting and processing parties: Wemade Connect, Gala Lab, PlayPark

• If a player fails to attend the Grand Final after both accommodation and flights have been booked, their eligibility to take part in this event is revoked and they may be barred from all future Flyff Universe events.

A no-show not only disrupts event operations but also takes an opportunity away from someone else.

Important Notes

• Before participating, please make sure that you and your teammates have no issues regarding international travel or entry into the Philippines.

• Team members cannot be replaced after registration. Please make sure all 4 registered members are able to participate in the tournament and, if qualified, attend the Grand Final in Manila.

• Please note that some aspects of this event may change without prior notice due to decisions by the developer or the service provider.

• If you have any questions, please send an email to flyff_g@wemadeconnect.com.

Thank you
