[FWC 2026] PvP Grand Final Bracket & Opponent Selection

August 20, 2026

Greetings, Flyffers!

To provide more teams with the opportunity to compete in the FWC 2026 PvP Online Qualifying Tournament, the tournament format has been expanded to begin from the Round of 16 in each time zone.

If the bracket is not fully filled, some teams may receive a bye and advance to the next round without playing a match.

Please check the updated FWC 2026 PvP Event announcement [HERE] for the revised tournament schedule and further details.

We are pleased to share the details of the FWC 2026 PvP Grand Final Bracket & Opponent Selection.

Please check below for details on how the Round 1 bracket positions and opponents will be determined for the Grand Final.

[Grand Final Bracket & Opponent Selection]

The 1st place team from each of the three time zones will have the right to select their Round 1 bracket position and opponent for the Grand Final.

[Ranking of the 1st Place Teams]

The three teams that finish 1st in their respective time zones will be ranked from 1st to 3rd based on their results in the Preliminary Matches.

The ranking will be determined using the following criteria:

  1. Higher accumulated Preliminary Points

  2. If tied, higher accumulated Kill Count

  3. If still tied, lower accumulated Death Count

  4. If all of the above criteria are still tied, the ranking will be determined by a random draw.

[Round 1 Bracket Position Selection]

The three 1st place teams will select their Round 1 bracket position in the following order:

  1. 3rd-ranked team

  2. 2nd-ranked team

  3. 1st-ranked team

This means that the highest-ranked team will have the final choice of Round 1 bracket position.

[Round 1 Opponent Selection]

After the bracket positions of the three 1st place teams have been determined, they will select their Round 1 opponents in the following order:

  1. 1st-ranked team

  2. 2nd-ranked team

  3. 3rd-ranked team

Each team may select one of the remaining available teams as its Round 1 opponent.

  • A 1st place team cannot select another time zone's 1st place team as its opponent.

  • A team that has already been selected as an opponent cannot be selected again.

  • Opponent selection applies only to Round 1 of the Grand Final.

After all three opponents have been selected, the two remaining teams, regardless of how they qualified for the Grand Final, will automatically face each other in the remaining Round 1 match.

The PlayPark and WCN Wild Card teams will not receive separate opponent selection rights and may be selected as Round 1 opponents by the 1st place teams.

Once this process is complete, the final 8-team Double Elimination bracket for the FWC 2026 Grand Final will be confirmed.

Thank you.
