[FWC 2025] PvP Event

Dear Flyffers,

We are pleased to announce the details of the 2025 FWC PvP event.
Through this notice, we hope players will have enough time to prepare their PvP teams in advance.

 


 

[Important Notes]

  • The FWC Final Tournament will take place offline in Manila on a special stage with a 4-player team PvP format.

  • Before participating, please ensure there are no issues related to international travel or entry into Manila for you and your teammates.

  • Manila allows visa-free entry for most nationalities, but we recommend checking in advance via the [Philippines eTravel Visa Link].

  • Please note that some aspects of this event may change without prior notice due to decisions by the developer or service provider.

 


 

[Schedule]

- FWC PvP Practice Period:  Open testing phase (additional team registrations allowed)

  • Period:

    •  August 15 00:00 (local server time) – August 21 before maintenance (UTC)

  • How to Participate:

    • Register via [FWC Manager] Ava in the town of Flarine

    • Form a team of 4 with a guild level of 10 or higher

    • Teams cannot be changed once formed

    • Entry fee: 1,000,000 Penya

    • PvP test matches will be held 4 times a day (02:00, 12:00, 13:00, 20:00 / UTC 0); choose one time slot to participate

  • Notes:

    • Team formation will reset after the practice period ends, and you may re-register a new team.

    • Points earned during this period are for strategic testing only and will not affect PvP Final rankings.

 


 

- FWC PvP Team (Character) Registration Period

  •  Period:

    •  August 12 – August 20 23:59 (UTC)

  • How to Participate:

  • Notes:

    • Teams cannot be changed after registration, so please plan carefully considering region, nationality, and travel schedules.

    • When registering character information, name, nationality, and birthdate must match your passport exactly. Nationality is based on your passport.

    • You can freely make changes to the submitted information during the registration period.

    • No additional registrations will be accepted after the deadline, so please ensure all team members have completed registration.

    • Collected personal data will be used solely for FWC 2025 operations (e.g., flight, lodging, prize distribution) and will be deleted immediately after the event.

- FWC PvP Final Tournament

  • Period:

    •  After maintenance on August 21 – September 10, 23:59:59 (UTC)

  • How to Participate

    •  Access the PvP event via [FWC Manager] Ava in the town of Flarine
      Form a team of 4 with a guild level of 10 or higher
      Teams cannot be changed once formed
      Entry fee: 1,000,000 Penya
      ※ Teams created during the practice period will be reset and must re-register.

  • Match Schedule (UTC 0):

    • 02:00

    • 12:00

    • 13:00

    • 20:00
      ※ One match per day. Please choose a time slot that suits your play schedule.

  • Mid-Event PvP Rankings Notice:

    • Zone-based rankings will be announced daily on the official website and Discord separately from the in-game rankings.

    • Only teams with completed registration will appear on the rankings.

    • Zone categories can be found in [this announcement].

- FWC PvP Tie-Breaker Matches (if needed)
If teams are tied in points after the PvP Finals, tie-breaker matches will be held.

- Announcement of PvP Final Results & Grand Finalist Teams

  • Announcement Date:

    •  Friday, September 12

  • Finalist List:
    : The FWC PvP Tournament is a ranking event to determine the TOP 9 teams, including one Wild Card, that will advance to the FWC 2025 Finals.
    In addition, 1 team selected by Playpark, the official sponsor of FWC, will join the Finals in Manila, making a total of 10 finalist teams competing for the Championship.

    • Playpark and WCN account users may only participate using characters trained on the FWC server with their respective accounts.

    • Wild Card: Europe and North America will each be allocated 0.5 tickets.
      In the PvP Event final rankings, the highest-ranked EU/NA guild outside the Top 8 will be awarded an additional ticket to the Manila Finals.

    • Please note that there are additional and updated details compared to the previous announcement. For more information, please refer to the full notice.

  • Grand Finalist Overview by Zone: 10 Teams

    • ZONE 1: Top 2 teams qualify for Grand Final

    • ZONE 2: Top 2 teams qualify for Grand Final

    • ZONE 3: Top 1 team + 1 WCN team qualify for Grand Final

    • ZONE 4: Top 2 teams qualify for Grand Final

- Personal Information Collection for Grand Finalists

  • Period:

    • September 13 00:00 – September 21 23:59 (UTC)

  • Method:

    • You will be contacted via the email used in team registration

  • Important:

    • If the information differs from what was submitted during the FWC PvP Team (Character) Registration Period, further verification may be required and finalist registration may be denied.

    • This period is for submitting passport copies (showing full name, gender, nationality, birthdate), email, and phone number for travel and prize purposes.

    • If any member fails to submit the required information within this period, the team’s qualification will be passed to the next eligible team in that Zone.

    • Please check your passport expiration date in advance and prepare for travel to Manila accordingly.

 


 

- Grand Finalist Data Backup

  • Time:

    • October 2, 2025 – 07:00:00 (UTC)

  • Important:

    • The Grand Final will be held on a separate secure server. Finalists’ data will be backed up at the above time.

    • All character setups must be finalized by then (character login not required).

    • Any changes made after the backup will not be reflected on the final server.

    • All necessary consumables will be equally provided to all finalists.

 


 

- FWC PvP Grand Final in Manila

  • Prize:

  • Date:

    •  October 18

  • Rules:

    • A total of 10 teams, consisting of the top 2 teams from each zone (except Zone 3: top 1 + 1 WCN team), 1 team from Playpark and 1 team by Wild Card, will compete in the Grand Final in Manila, Philippines.

    • The tournament will follow a double-elimination format.

    • Matches will take place on a separate secure server. Players must complete their setup before the data backup on October 2 at 07:00 UTC. (After backup, gameplay is unrestricted.)

    • Some items may be restricted or provided for balancing purposes.

    • Tournament brackets will be determined on-site by random draw.

    • If a player intentionally shuts off their PC or disconnects during a match, they will forfeit that round.

    • If a player deliberately disrupts the match, their team will forfeit the tournament.

    • Setup time for the match day will be announced by tournament staff. Any issues caused by the player after the setup time will not be accepted.

    • All participants must fully cooperate with the entire FWC and Grand Final schedule, including sponsor photoshoots, ad slots, and media interviews.

  • Drug Use Notice (Narcotics & Psychotropics):

    • In relation to E-Sports held in the Philippines, players who test positive for narcotics will be disqualified.

    •  On-site GAB officers will conduct drug tests on finalist teams who are confirmed to receive prize money.

[PvP Rules for advancing to the finals]

   1) Finalists will be required to provide the company with personal information to make flight/accommodation reservations. (Documents related to consent to use of personal information will be distributed directly to finalists)

   2) Finalists who win a prize must provide banking and personal information to receive the prize money.

   3) Nationality criteria are based on the country in which the passport was issued. (Regardless of country of residence)

   4) The prize money will be remitted through a local bank in Singapore (Playpark headquarters) excluding related taxes. The winner is responsible for paying taxes to the winner's country, and the company is not responsible for any issues that arise if the winner does not pay taxes.

   5) Those listed below will be disqualified from advancing to the final and the opportunity will be given to the next highest ranked team.

       a) If any member of the team fails to provide personal information for flight and accommodation reservations

       b) If one of the team members commits abuse or commits an act that could be considered abuse during the PvP period

       c) In case of intentional disruption of event progress

       d) When all members of a team cannot gather at the final location

       e) When some or all of the members of a team are replaced by others

       f) If you play by using someone else's account or personal information

       g) In case of other actions that are inconsistent with the intention of event planning

   6) You will be disqualified from participating in the event for the following information, and you will not be able to participate in any future events held by Flyff Universe.

       a) If you do not participate in the final after completing reservations for both accommodation and flights

         (In the case of no-shows, it is not only a problem with the event progress, but it can also be a big problem in that it takes away opportunities from others.)
